Can anyone recommend a resturant to have a business lunch near Harbord & Spadina?

    Olive and Lemon (mediterranean)
    Tati Bistro (french)
    There's a bakery/cafe, around Brunswick/Harbord called Dessert Trends
    Boulevard Cafe (Peruvian)
Splendido (super posh, not sure if open for lunch)

There's also a middle eastern place nearby. Most are on the first two or three blocks west of spadina.

Opps my mistake Boulevard Cafe is the only one open for lunch which I will check out!

        Dessert Trends is definitely open:

It's a lovely spot for lunch -- the food is really excellent. The service can be a bit scattered, but it's so well meaning, that I can overlook it.

While I agree that Dessert Trends has decent food and lovely atmosphere, I find their service annoyingly scattered, inexpert, and slow. They do try hard, but I would imagine that might be not what the OP wants, particularly if it's a business lunch.

Sadly, I would agree with SWS's assessment of service at Dessert Trends. I love this place and want so badly for them to do well, but alas, the service is amateur at best and frigid at worst.

If the Middle Eastern place you are thinking of is Kensington Kitchen, I believe that is now closed. (Although I do recall another one near there... something with an M in the name?)

Olive & Lemon had great risottos and terrible quail when I went.

Thanks for the help but I have just checked those out and they are not open for lunch!

I am positive Olive and Lemon is (or at least has been???) open for lunch, as that is the meal I had there.

For a business lunch in that area, your best best is the Gallery Grill in Hart House at U of T. Lovely, refined setting, with nice food and decent wine list. See the link.
