Hello ye crowlin' ferlies,

What local spots might ye know of that will be doing a Burns Supper this coming weekend (Robert Burns' birthday)? Complete with (Addressed) Haggis?

I've been to the Robert Burns night at the Tam O'Shanter several times.
Chef Ivan gives the address to the haggis along with bag pipe players and the whole works.

You kid me! ASk them to explain why when I was there last Saturday evening for a drink, I saw a flyer on the wall announcing the "Burns Night Event" with the haggis, presenters, entertainment, and a pre fixe menu!

I believe it was yellow, but I could be wrong. It was posted on the wall under the specials board, right next to the door to the kitchen.

I called the Robin Hood, and they said they are sort of doing it. The Piper or someone got sick. But They're going to have the menu and a few other things.

Try calling them again tonight for full details!

The lady I spoke to apologized profusely.

I guess it will be Burns lite
