Village Rec

Meeting friends for dinner Feb 2. Need something quiet enough for dinner conversation, reasonable (under $150pp with drinks) and casual (jeans acceptable). Not hung-up on cuisine but have been craving steak/seafood, with good beer list. Know this is kind of broad but thanks.

It is too bad that Soho Steak closed down. I would recommend Knickerbocker on University or Raouls on Prince. Maremma in the West Village has great steaks, but may be too pricey?
