I know it can be a pain to get in, but Mint Lovers at Babbo is so good. Perfect combination of lamb and mint in ravioli :-)

The sides at crispo are awesome- especially, the cauliflower - also the small plates are worth ordering- our rule of thumb is eat very the little the day of dinner and then go bonkers

Don't know if it's still there, haven't been in a few years but Cafe Napali (sp?) in Little Italy had a FANTASTIC lasagna.... just look out. We got hit with a 2 dollar service charge PER PLATE! Not a big deal just wasn't expecting it. I don't understand why places do that. Just add it to the menu price! Don't give me any surprises at the end of a delicious meal... I want to enjoy the food, not leave with a bad taste in my mouth.

The rigatoni at Lavagna is quite possibly the best single Italian dish in New York City ... and maybe the best dish overall.

i know its not manhttan, but piccola venezia, robertos, manducattis all very reachable
