Whats the vibe at Indochine? Is it more Funky and Trendy or Classic? Im going tonight and am not sure how to dress, lol. Also, has anyone been recently? opinions on food? recommendations?

Thanks!

I know this is offtopic, but I apologize..didn't want to start a new thread and my question is of the same spirit!

I have upcoming reservations for Blue Hill and what is the dress code for that place as well?

Dress jeans and dress top with heels would be great.

I was there last year...it's definitely a slightly trendy hipster crowd seeing that it's right by NYU but it's not a college hang out.

The food was actually delicious....i was there for restaurant week as well. I think I got the lamb and my friend got the duck. it was delicious. Definitely a strong south east asian spice flavor but not overpowering. the overall meal was VERY FEELING considering it was a restaurant week menu but like MMRuth...the service was a little disappointing.

        Hope you enjoy it!

          Thank you both!

I'd say trendy though I never achieve that myself. It's been quite awhile since I've been though - remember the food as being better than expected, but not great. Service on the mediocre side.
