On the Food Network last night, Bobby Flay did a meatball throw down with Mike.
It was close, but Mike's were the winner. Maroni's is well regarded on this board for good reason. Mike came off as quite a character with so much passion for his food.
Reminded me a visit is long overdue.

  1. What's the deal with the pots of meatballs and sauce - you have to buy the actual pot? They don't have regular takout containers? The meatballs really did look good - I'll have to stop by for a visit.

    1. Sorry, but you have to take the pot back. He must have dozens of them bec. they are going out and coming back at a good clip.

      1. We've never ordered from the regular menu. We just can't seem to resist going with the tasting menu each time we've gone.

        1. Love their meatballs. If you return the pot, you get maybe $2 off the order. I kept the first red pot, figured it was more than worth the price.
