Don Feliz near sunset junction
I've been invited and will go tonight. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Might be too late, but I like the drink called Chicha Morada as well as the stir fried dishes that include seafood and potatoes/french fries, sauteed with onions and tomatoes-its called Saltado. Somehow the combination works They also do a soup called Shrimp Chupe that is pretty good (kind of like a shrimp chowder).

re: CEfromLA
Cam the Man went with us there about a decade ago, at which time he pronounced the pasta with shrimp the best shrimp dish he'd eaten in a restaurant. (He's moved on and up; now, for him, it's a toss-up between Alan Wong's and some place in Venice. Italy, not CA. . . my son, the foodie....)
I don't know that we've been back since. Prior to that, the only Peruvian food I'd had was at Mario's on Vine at Melrose, so we didn't have much standard for comparision. I remember thinking the potato thing with the screaming yellow, cool cheese sauce was kinda odd, but I understand it's a standard item. . .It's still there, though, so SOMEONE must be eating there. . .

re: SilverlakeGirl
I think the poster meant Don Felix.
It's Peruvian, on Fountain west of Sunset.
