Need restaurant rec's for San Diego Symphony Hall area

I am traveling to San Diego from boston for business and would like to see if you could offer any restaurant recommendation! I have a $25 expense allowance and will be staying around symphony hall.

Any advice of places to eat at (or to avoid) would be great!
