  1. That's too bad. I've never been and had wanted to make the trip up there to give it a try.

    1. This is disturbing. The article notes:

"This is just the latest blow for Manchester BBQ, coming within a year of the closings of Santa Fe Smokehouse and Down 'n' Dirty BBQ and the conversion of Sausage Heaven from storefront to warehouse. Just a year ago, Manchester was a barbecue hotbed, with arguably more BBQ restaurants per capita than any city in the Northeast."

I think a few of these places have lost customers to the chains.

Dittoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Aside from Chowhounders, I don't think she got a lot of support from the local community. It drives me crazy when I drive by Applebee's or Olive Garden and they are packed. Maybe if she had opened on South Willow...

dito dito dito, I'm sad. I'll have to go before Sat. I wonder if it was the slow service due to the homemade from scratch? I wonder if the crowd on Elm St. is in a hurry for lunch and just couldn't wait for the greatness.

It sounds to me like someone offered her a lot of money and a bigger restaraunt. Philadelphia probably has a lot more people who enjoy this sort of food.

We should pack the place on saturday to give her a big send off. Anyone know what their hours are on Saturday?

      2. I have been meaning to try this it really good?

        1. A crying shame! I've been wanting to try this little gem and haven't had the chance. Think I will need to stop by before Sat. Honestly, we are in the Manchester area and don't get to Elm st too often due to the fact that everything closes soooo early. If some of the business' and establishments stayed open later and there was some other forms of entertainment there for the 30/40 something crowd...we'd be there alot more often,

          1. Darn, I'm really disappointed. I went there once, and the food was phenomenal.
