TOP MULTI-UNIT INDIES IN FLA
This IS NOT a chain post!!! This post is for SMALL independent operators who operate more than one of the same brand. NO BIG CHAINS allowed!!! As usual, I will give you a few of my favorites here in my neck of the Florida woods...please feel free to post yours.
1. Taverna OPA - Greek Goodness with a huate party ambiance.
2. El Rey de las Fritas - Cuban Burgers? Si Senor!
3. Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza - Burnt is better!
I beg of the moderators NOT to move this over to the "chain" board.

Maybe not the caliber you are seeking, but I would like to mention Bru's Room. Not gourmet by any stretch, but the wings have always been my favorite. Plus, I love seeing the owners of a place walking around, meeting customers, helping servers, running food, etc. The owner at Bru's Room at the new Commercial location is always highly visible and extremely friendly.

A Mr. Potato Head post on the wings thread reminded me that Keg South with three locations in Miami-Dade deserves a mention here as well.
The original in Pinecrest is a local institution and not only serves solid wings but does a great job with burgers and fries to go along with a pitcher of their ice cold brew. They also have a bigger/newer/cleaner (yes you can read more "sanitized" and less original mojo) spot out by Tamiami Airport along with a down Homestead way locale.
Definitely an indie worthy of a visit!

I really love Tijuana Flats for fresh tex-mex. I first became obsessed with them in Gainesville, and then found out they have several locations in Orlando, Pompano Beach and Deerfield, I believe, among other places. When I say obsessed, I mean I must have eaten there at least twice a week when I lived in G-ville.
Really fresh and tasty guacamole and their sweet chili sauce is to die for! Too bad they don't have any locations in Dade county :(

Here's a couple more from down yonder in Dade...what else you got FLA???

The ever growing/spreading throughout Florida Columbia (sorry Net, thats how they spell it) Restaurant. Now as far south from the landmark Ybor City original as West Palm Beach and north as St. Augustine.
The spanish/cuban cuisine is usually above average and their 1905 Ensalada is a true Floridian original.

I don't know man, I wouldn't even rate Dogma in my top 10 favorite hot dogs.
Has anyone tried Scrubby's BBQ? I've been meaning to make it over there, but I'm not even sure if they use real smoke.
How about La Granja? They're chicken is always moist, flavorful, and cheap as all get out. They're other stuff is great too - ceviche, plantains, tostones, amazing fried yucca, and about 10 types of house-made peruvian hot sauces to slather on everything. I believe they franchise, but they are a Florida only company.

re: The Chowfather AKA sobe
Well, it might be one of the only multi unit dog places that's not a franchise. But this topic isn't that narrow; it's for all multi unit establishments, not just the ones that serve hot dogs. Based on the strength of its food under that definition, I would argue against it being included in the best list.
