Is Angela's Cafe Vegetarian Friendly?

Dear Chowhounds,

I've read a gazillion posts on CH about how fantastic Angela's Cafe is in East Boston. My parents are interested in checking it out for their 38th anniversary, but I want to make sure that it's vegetarian friendly for my Mom.

I couldn't get a full menu on their website. Any veggies out there who have an opinion about Angela's veg-friendly status?

Looking forward to hearing all comments.

thanks. PJ

We were there for the first time last week and it was terrific. My wife had the best dish which was the cheese stuffed poblano (green pepper) in a light tomato sauce. They have rice and beans and I'm sure they can do cheese and veggie enchiladas or chili rillenos (spelling?). What ever they do it will be good.

my daughter is veggie, and I've been there when other veggie people have gone. They are willing to make something for you. The rajas con crema are GREAT! I also enjoyed the stuffed poblano peppers. I agree that the more people who ask for veggie options, the more they will offer.

BTW, my daughter enjoys veggie enchiladas there :)

I'm a veggie and they made me AMAZING veggie enchiladas and we had the guac app and it was fabulous. I know they had other options as well on the menu and they told me they'd pretty much make me anything else I could think of.
