Yuzando--Sleeping with the Fishes?

I went to dinner on Sawtelle last night about 8:45 and, as I passed by, noted that Yuzando was dark and had a closed sign up (but no vacation notice). Dead or just resting?

Mondays they're closed, I believe. I guess it's a fish market thing.

BUT, now that you've mentioned it, business has been a slow at Yuzando recently. It's a shame - I've always had great quality sushi there, AND they're one of the few place in town serving single-piece sushi.

Go try it soon. On some days, they have fish I rarely see in Los Angeles.

I was there on a Saturday, during what still ought to have been a prime time--by comparison, Orris (next door) had a 20-30 minute wait, even for the counter. There was no note posted, as one might expect if it were a sudden mechanical or health problem.
