Ethiopian Food

By any chance are there any Ethiopian restaurants in the Philly suburbs? Even within 50 miles?

I think there are only two choices in the Phila area: Dahlak and Abyssinia. Both are in West Philly, but Dahlak has a new(ish) location on Germantown Pike. Try doing a chowhound search on these two options. If you go, please provide a review!

There are more than those two in Philadelphia. Those are just the ones talked about on this board (I have enjoyed meals at both, as well as Almaz and I have heard good things about Kaffa Crossing). Below is what I pulled from philadelphia menupages. I don't know about Ethiopian restaurants in the burbs.

      Abyssinia
      229 S 45th St | At Locust St

      Almaz Cafe
      140 S 20th St | At Moravian St

      Dahlak
      4708 Baltimore Ave | At S 47th St

      Dahlak
5547 Germantown Ave | Btwn E Armat St & E School House Ln

      Era
      2743 Poplar St | Btwn N 27th St & N 28th St

      Gojjo
      4540 Baltimore Ave | Btwn S 45th St & S 46th St

      Kaffa Crossing
      4423 Chestnut St | Btwn S 44th & S 45th St
