I found Chowhound through a google search.

I am looking for some type of compartment tv tray. I often take leftovers to work for lunch. I hate reheating leftovers in the microwave because of the vulcanization that occurs. The microwaves we have here only have one heat setting. We do however have a rarely used toaster oven. I used to put my leftovers in a metal cake pan but due to the utensils the coating on the pan was scratched off and the pan started to rust out (plastic utensils are NOT an option). I have been trying to find some type of replacement tray.

I am looking for either an aluminum or steel or ceramic, compartmental style of tray. Plastic will do also. Pretty much anything that can survive at temperatures of 350 - 400F would be fine. I am trying to find something that has a lid of some sort. If I can't find something with a lid then I would like something that I can easily cover with tin foil. I don't really care if it reusable or some kind of really cheap disposable trays. I would prefer reusable though.

I have seen a couple trays on specialty online stores. The problem is none of them offer any kind of style with a lid or a way of getting a good seal with tin foil. I am looking for something that has some leak protection. Even if the lid is plastic I can take it off before I put it in the oven. I just don't want my sauce and/or gravy spilling out.

Anyone?

Thanks,

Lydokane

Most bento boxes are plastic right now, though maybe with the "green consumers" coming n strong more will be available..
