Can't find a single person, website or newspaper review archive that recommends any Cambodian restaurants in greater L.A.

I know the Times just did an article on the Cambodian population near Long Beach, but nary an eatery was named.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks...

  1. Good Luck. My suggestion is to be adventurous. Years ago, I went down to Anaheim St. and found a place with a great green papaya salad and some ok food. Looking around on the web, there seems to be a concentration of Cambodian places from around 600 to 1100 E. on Anaheim St (some Vietnamese too). You might check around there.
As well, the city of Long Beach has a Homeland Cultural Center on E. Anaheim (562) 570-1740 and someone there might be able to suggest a place. So should the Khmer Cultural Center (website: http://www.khmermarket.com/kcc/, phone, 562-621-1943).

    Good luck.
