    Howdy!

Never been to any of these:
    La Mandoline - 122 McGill
    Giorgio - 200 Saint Laurent
    Le Saint Paul - 12 St Paul O. & 405 Saint Antoine W.

Nor would I really recommend any of them either...

Don't think there are any in Old Port, but just take a short cab ride (unless you have a car) to the plateau. Tons and tons and tons of wonderful BYOs there! Les Heritiers is our favorite, as is Les Infideles, Bleu Raisin and others...enjoy!

Steak Frites St Paul is a fair bet for something casual. The food is a good value for your money, especially when the signature steak frites dish comes with all-you-can-eat Belgian-style fries. The ambiance is typical. However, the service can be spotty, so beware.

Absolutely right. Not great but acceptable and, as far as I know, the only BYOB worth visiting in "le Vieux." www.steakfrites.ca

La Mandoline turns out passable but thoroughly run-of-the-mill Vietnamese. Giorgio is a franchise restaurant chain that serves mock Italian.
