10th B-day tonight, mid-Peninsula

My youngest daughter turns 10 today. We're doing her "party" tomorrow, but tonight she wants to go somewhere for dinner where they'll sing to her. I'm willing to set aside my usual aversion to chain restaurants, but really really (really!) don't want to go to Chevy's or Friday's. Anywhere from, say, Menlo Park to Burlingame, would be great. Any ideas? Something different?

Max's Opera Cafe - in the Stanford Shopping Center - has waiters who will REALLY sing Happy Birthday:).

You might try Apus Wok & Grill in San Mateo. It is a new restaurant I stumbled across that serves Asian Fusion food. The prices were reasonable and the food was very tasty. It just off of 25th Ave on El Camino in San Mateo.
