Anniversary party location - Cleveland, west side?
I'm looking to organize a 30th anniversary party for my parents and could appreciate some location suggestions. I'd prefer to have the party on the west side of Cleveland, since that's where everyone lives...except me and my sister! There will probably be, at most, 30 guests. I'm considering anything casual to classy, but nothing too formal or stuffy.
My initial ideas are Great Lakes, Arrabiata's,....and that's about it, since I haven't lived there in years. Any other ideas?

Second Carrie Cerino's. I haven't been to Great Lakes in a long time, but the last time I was there, the food did not impress at all.

Carrie Cerino's was actually the first place I thought of but I wasn't sure how it is anymore. A long time ago, it used to be the place to go for special occasions in our family, but I think mom grew tired of it.
I'll have to see how she feels about it these days. Thank you for the advice.

re: buckeye.mary
the food has been greatly revitalized by one of the sons in the family. he's commited to the old standbys for those who don't want it to change but he's really added some amazing new things and travelled to italy for authentic dishes. worked with mario batali's father on things and is using local/heritage products. it's becoming really a gem of the cleveland food scene. but still has the classics the old-cleveland folks love. now i'm not certain the decor has changed. but i know nancy's blog has some amazing things about the food!
