sobe delivery or takeout for large group

i am ordering lunch for a group of 20-25 with big appetites. have used joe allen, catering by epicure, la sandwicherie and joes stone crab in the past. have been happy with all, just looking for something new. casual, good sandwiches or other fare. any ideas appreciated!

maybe i should mention this lunch will be on a boat ride. paninis at sardinia were too bulky and hard to eat. tasted good, loved the salad, but not good for what i need. cant use the truck on the boat!

how is fresh on fifth for sandwiches?

Not familiar. But have you thought of Macaluso's Market? They have some great heroes (meatball, sausage, Italian meats, daily specials) along with some tasty salad options as well. You should check them out for sure. They might even be willling to "cook up" something special for your group.

thanks for recs. i tried bbq beach last week as a possible contender and was not impressed.
would prefer sandwiches or something that doesn't need silverware to anything sardinia could do.

thanks-- have eaten dinner there many times, didn't realize lunch menu was different. their website is not showing the paninis for some reason- whats good?

I think all their sandwiches are good but they are not my favorite things to get there. That being said, you should go in once and try one. My issue is with the bread - which takes the sandwiches down from very good to merely good, but others like the bread much more than I do. The fillings are all great ingredients.
