How was the food at the previous location? Is it good enough to lure me away from Keefer Court across the street? (Perhaps on a Tuesday, when Keefer Court is closed...)

huh. i know it's the west bank & all but the food prices seem kinda cheap-- is acadia primarily a bar i'm guessing? the beer list seems good & they also list the elusive but sought after "pitcher". . . still you gotta wonder about prices cheaper than the hard times down the block-- $2.25 for an egg sandwich and $.90 for a soda? talk about cheap lunch.

I dunno - $6.50 for a guacamole BLT doesn't seem that cheap to me. Perhaps the breakfast egg sandwich is their loss leader. And the beer isn't dirt cheap either - but what a great selection (they have Surly!).

Yeah, I agree that there prices aren't super cheap, but it is worth it for a good sandwich.

I had the black bean burger & sub'd chips for a mixed greens salad (free). It was very very good for $6.50. Cheap drinks, too (I think they have some happy hour with a dollar off everything.. at least they did). Super full for $9 or so.

They are a coffee shop-bar-restaurant-performance venue- although I like to think of it as a coffee shop. They make great sandwiches, and I can't wait to have them in the neighborhood, as I work at the U of MN.

I have never been to Keefer Court.

Here is a really dumb question that is a bit off topic but . . . what and where is Keefer Court? Is it an Asian place? A food court type of thing? I've been seeing all these references but it's new to me.

Does anyone know why they are moving (or have already moved?) My daughter went to MCAD and we liked going to Acadia when visiting.

I think I was able to answer my own question. Did a search for KC on this site and found some of your prior discussion and Jeremy Iggers review. It sounds like a good place to check out steamed buns.

There is a performance there on Friday the 24th. I heard that they will be open the 23rd. Give them a call to verify.
