brussel sprounts at good price

i am on the east side (downtown/ echopark area) and it seems like these guys are quite expensive. even tj's is $2/lb. wondering if anyone has any thoughts?

Costco had some nice ones last time I was there -- smaller and much less expensive than TJs when I got some last month -- but I'm not sure if they've got them all the time.

The farmer's market in Studio City on sunday morning generally has them for $2.50 to $3.00 a pound, with the miniatures at the $3.00 figure, yet they are soooooo much better than the larger ones that the price differential is so totally worth it. Makes you want brussels sprouts every night for dinner!!!
