Some specific "OK to bring a toddler" requests

We'll have a 2.5 year-old with stroller. Close to Times Sq would be nice but quality is more important. Having said, that, we'd love some suggestions in the following genres that bring the Chow, are OK with the kid and ideally not chains.

1. Sushi
2. Steak Frites
3. Greek

La Bonne Soupe, on 55th St., b/t 5th & 6th Avs., is a sweet, family-friendly French bistro with much more on the menu than just good soups. And that includes steak/frites.

La Bonne Soupe is really tight with a stroller - have to put them under the stairs and have the child in some sort of arrangement by the table if you sit in the front. Upstairs won't work. Is it better in the back downstairs? I'm not sure.
