      <content>I usually go with the Good Nature Farms meats and eggs, available at Hen House and some Price Chopper stores.

      <content>We're GNFF purchasers as well but the selection of cuts is limited.- as for Amy's Meats...I've purchased from her in the past. Very good quality.  She'll now be available in Kansas City once a week.</content>

      <content>Sadly, Bill Kurits' (of SE Kansas) has no outlet here. He moved back to Sedan, KS to start a ranch w/ family. All grass fed meat - it's great. You can order from them online.

      <content>The Community Mercantile in Lawrence is a good source for locally raised meats, eggs, and cheeses, etc.  I know it won't probably help the OP (b/c of the distance) but i thought I'd throw it out here as a source.</content>

      <content>we shop occasionally at the merc and at the Meat Market that use to happen at the Local Burger- now Amy Saunders comes to KC twice a month and we get that beef, poultry, pork from her.
