Quaker Steak and Lube Sauces

madgreek Jan 17, 2008 09:30 AM

I just tried their "Thai 'R' Cracker" sauce and thought it was very good as far as wing sauces go. It had a very solid balance of sweet and spicy. I love good wings, and this sauce definitely made these the best I've ever had! The fact that the wings were perfectly cooked helped as well. I hope I can find their sauces in the grocery store! I have a feeling that I have to buy them in their restaurants, though.

They sell the Quaker Steak sauces in Giant Eagle around here (Pittsburgh area), but I'm not sure if all of them carry it or not.

You can also order online http://quakersteak.securetree.com/pub...

Thanks! Hopefully my local Giant Eagle has it (Northeast Ohio). I'm checking today!

Might I recommend making your own?

It's so easy and, as somebody who ate my fair share of Lube wings as a teenager and at home on the weekends during college, this sauce is as good if not better than any I've had at the Lube (although, admittedly, it's been a good 4 years since I've eaten there): http://lustybit.blogspot.com/2007/07/...
