Dinner in ATL...last hurrah before grad school starts

some like it haute Jan 17, 2008 08:09 AM

Hi All,

I'd love some requests for a great place to go out to dinner in Atlanta one last time before I'm once again chained to the library. I don't get a chance to go to many restaurants during the school year, so I want to go out with a bang.

I am game for any type of food, with a price range of $15-ish per plate or less, if possible. Would love something with a great atmosphere, maybe a little eclectic. Locations within the perimiter are preferred (I'm near the Highlands), but will drive for good food. Would especially love suggestions for hiddem gems, etc. Links to previous threads are also welcome.

Thanks in advance!!

Had never heard of Top Flr. Thanks biskuit.

As for the original poster, how about Pura Vida.

I sound like a broken record but I really love Two Urban Licks.

I like it too, but you would have to stick to the appetizer menu to stay in the $15 or less category. And that's not a bad thing I suppose.

What about Calvinos in Oakhurst? Friends of mine love it (said he had the best scallops of his life there) and the prices are in your range. http://www.calavinosatoakhurst.com/
