Looking for a commendable version of this great dish I thrilled on at the Singapore and Malaysia hawker centers.
The version at 3 Wang Cafe were very good but not thrilling:
You might add your query to the "What's My Craving?" board, too.
All of the dim sum places in Flushing will do a very good version of traditional Cantonese cheung fun. I'm not sure if the Malaysian version is any different, though.
