All butter puff pastry?

Is there such a thing? A recipe calls for it. looked in Fairway & other markets on upper East and West side and The Bronx

  1. In California it is sold at both Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. Perhaps you have access to one of those chains and could find it there?

    1. I've seen it at Fairway in Brooklyn (Dufour brand).

Marion is correct. The DuFour brand, made with pure butter, is sold in one lb packages at Fairway Red Hook. I have also bought it at Garden of Eden on Montague Street.

A great staple to keep on hand in the freezer.

      2. Puff pastry is made with butter and flour only. Fairway, Whole Food, and most of the gourmet grocery stores carry it. Most common brand is DuFour in a take out tin container with a white paper top.
