What local ingredients are at their perfect prime in early March around Austin?

I'm a chef visiting the area in early March and i would really love to get my hands on the best local product. Any suggestions?

Be sure and check out boggycreekfarm.com (a local amazing! organic farm). They have a list of available produce, etc. on the website. You might also check the Austin Farmer's Market website (austinfarmersmarket.org). There are so many incredible local products available here--from chevre to lamb. And the Venza event (a multi-top chef cookoff with local ingredients) on Saturday, March 7 should be fabulous and not to be missed. The Austin Culinary Academy is also a good source of info. Enjoy your stay--it's a great city!
