Nova Express Pizza on Fairfax -- kid friendly?

Hi all,

So going with a group of friends to see School House Rock live this Sat 4pm. 6 adults, 8 kids between the ages of five and seven. Have been wanting to try Nova Express for a while, and ties into BB jrs obsession with rockets and aliens. Anyone have a sense if Nove Express would be kid friendly enough for a group like this?

Thx all. We ended up doing Damianos. I hesitated because in the past it's taken a long time to order and get food (even when not full). This time it was great though. Fast service and love their slices. Mmmm.

I thought this place was a coffee shop. I haven't been there in years, and I didn't even know it was still open. Please let me know how it is these days.

Canter's would probably be the easiest with kids in that area. Some of the waitresses look a bit like aliens.

Should be fine for kids. Keep in mind however that they don't open till 7:00.

Do they actually have pizza there? Seems more like a place for stoned college students who aren't old enough to drink to get coffee to me...but you could take them to Damiano's next door if you want pizza.

  they have pizza. if you go at normal dining hours it should be kid friendly. afterhours it gets a little weird but i like it.
