I know I have already posted that I will be in New Orleans March 16-21 for vacation, and have asked for your restaurant suggestions, but I am now also looking for any specialty cooking classes I could take while visiting. Just like a one day, few hour class in the city. I have a degree in culinary arts, but am interested in regional classes. If anyone has taken any, or has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks again!

If you will look at www.frenchquarter.com and then search cooking schools they have several options listed. Some look like they may be right up your alley, with your professional background.

I have read on this board that Frank Brigsten has a dinner you can purchase where he cooks and you eat somewhat like a class. Not sure where you can get it, but maybe you can search the board. He would be the one to get the best taste of NO food from.
