Flavored Sriracha Sauce? Where?

Kudzu1313 Jan 15, 2008 08:37 AM

Recently a friend and I were discussing our favorite condiment, Sriracha. Also known as "chili crack" in my house. I've only tried the Huy Fong brand (Rooster) which is great.
We discovered a Wiki link with flavored sriracha by the brand name "Flying Goose". Now I'm on a mission to find it! I've been to Saigon Taipei supermarket..no luck. Probably a long shot, but does anyone know if there is a market around that sells this brand?

Here's the wiki link if you are interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sriracha

I found it in early December at the market on Fitzhugh across the street from Jimmy's and Spiceman. I haven't been back, so I don't know if they still have it. I went over to buy it because Spiceman was recommending it, so if the market doesn't have it, Tom may know where you can find it. (I got the super sour and yes, I think it is worth trying to find it.)

I am not sure if this is what you are talking about but I looked into my pantry today and noticed a new bottle of Sriracha sauce and it has a bright lime green lid, then I notided it said with lemmongrass. Anyway I just bought it at the Asian market in Carrollton at Josey and Frankford.
