Vee Vee Coming Soon to JP

  • 6

supposedly by the end of the month - new place on Centre Street, don't know what used to be there...across the street from the Emack and Bolio's space, basically. The menu looked small but good - with mostly (if not all) fish and meat-free dishes. Does anyone know the scoop?

  1. Somewhat, it is small seating less than 20 people. They are serving all veggie dishes.

Don't believe it'll be all veggie - website has oysters on it! In any case, looking forward to trying this place out. Sounds along the lines of Green Zebra in Chicago (which is all veggie and seems perpetually packed).

I agree w/digga -- they have a menu in the window and a clam dish w/bacon caught my eye (clams + bacon = sign me up). I believe it's more vegetarian-friendly rather than vegetarian.

    2. I believe that is the Cha Fahn space. Website is up but doesn't have much info yet.

      Thanks for the heads up!

      1. It is going to be vegetarian friendly, it's only 20 seats with a small bar and serving artisanal beers and small production wines. App prices ranging from $6-$10 and entrees from $14-$20. Probably opening end of this month start of February.

I heard that the chef/owner used to cook at Zons. I think this will be a good addition to JPs restaurant scene.
