Favorite S.F. Valley Restaurant?

Macy Jun 22, 2001 02:28 PM

What is your favorite restaurant in the Valley?

My favorite is still OutTake Cafe in Studio City. Small, sometimes crowded, but with excellent service and good food at very decent prices.

Care to share your gem? I need to venture out and try new restaurants in the valley and have no idea where to even start!

    Joe Joe's
    13355 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks
    Cross Street: Dixie Canyon

Cheaper version (less exotic too) of Joe's in Venice.

I second Muhlyssa's choice! Also liked Café Bizou, in the same neighborhood, on the south side of Ventura.

Sorry, I don't remember the address...

On Sepulveda Blvd. south of Roscoe in Panorama City (or is it still Van Nuys there?). Try Wood Ranch in Northridge for good BBQ in the valley, too.

...is on the corner of Cahuenga and Lankershim @ the fork in the road. Great food, good wine list. In Studio City to be exact, next to Technicolor and Universal Studios.
