Manor Tavern - Monkton

My wife and I were invited by friends to go to dinner at The Manor Tavern in Monkton on Saturday night. I am aware of their past reputation, but hoping some Hounds can give me some recent expieriences.

Went there before it was rebuilt after a fire. Used to be a pretty nice place to go with friends - pretty good food, decent value. I usually stuck with comfort food - it's that kind of place.

It's a little out of the way, so the people who go there are pretty regular.

If the prices didn't change, then it should be a good time.

I've been there a few times and they catered my best friend's wedding. Never had bad food there.

They used to have a lobster tail and drawn butter appetizer that was nice, but it was awhile ago.
