  1. Ah... A post close to my heart (and stomach).

Cinnamon French Toast at JP Pancake. It's our normal favorite.

Frosted Flakes-crusted French Toast at Brunch at the Phoenician. We've tried to make it at home, but theirs is just so much better. Granted for $60/person or whatever it is now, it's a bit much, but it was still an amazing spread.

Just a note - the cinnamon french toast isn't on the menu at JP Pancake anymore. Their menu just shows regular french toast. If you ask for it, though, they'll make it for you. It's superb.

      2. Le peep does an awesome french toast! They had a special stuffed french toast with strawberries and cream cheese the last time I was there, looked awfully decadent!

        1. The banana pecan french toast at the Morning Glory Cafe at the Farm at South Mountain is wonderful.

          1. I had the best french toast of my life at Matt's Big Breakfast. Unfortunately, I don't think it's a regular menu item - it was one of the specials that day.

            1. I love the pain perdu at Mimi's - it's stuffed w/ cream cheese and orange marmalade. Yummy!

              1. I completely forgot about Chompie's deep-fried French Toast. While it's not my favorite, it does remind me of some deep-fried French Toast I had once growing up that was amazing.

I know. Seems like such a simple concept, yet I never would have thought of it.

Good grief, that does sound good.
