Good brunch at Lulu's, Richmond, VA
Dh and I went with our daughter and BF to brunch at Lulu's yesterday and it was fabulous. They had a few no-shows among the staff, so things were delayed, but they were very upfront and apologetic and kept the coffee, mimosas and toast coming until the food arrived.
It was very much worth the wait. Similar to Millie's brunch but different at the same time and the atmosphere, staff, accessibility, etc. are all much better. Everyone was very pleased with their food and service was spot-on.
And they take reservations :-)

We were planning to try LuLu's this week, but our babysitter bailed on us. Do you think it's suitable to take a 3yr old? He likes Millies a lot at brunch, we have never taken him there for dinner.

There was a well behaved baby there at brunch and she fit in just fine.

fabulous to hear. does anyone know if they have a menu online? i've been hoping their menu would please my hubby more than millie's does. (since we still haven't gotten there - ever once in a while i really wish i'd married a foodie! good thing i like him!) :)

Their website is lu-lusrichmond.com and it has the dinner and lunch menus but not brunch. We had a great dinner at Millie's last night. Bless you for dealing with a non-foodie. Back in the day it was a deal breaker for me <g>.
