Someone has told me the communal table is gone from the Collage Ave. Oakland location. Is anyone out there a regular who knows the current status of said table?! I could swear when I was there January 2nd that it was in place!

Also, the only listing on Chowhound is a Fruitvale Ave location?! Not only have I never heard of it, the La Farine website claims its goods can only be purchased at the store on College Ave. (Perhaps their website is out of date?! Or is someone using their name?!)

Thanks.

The table was there a few days ago, but I have not been since Jan.2. There is a second location on Solano (North Berkeley) by the Wells Fargo, also called La Farine.

There is definitely a branch of La Farine on Fruitvale Avenue in Oakland (right across from Farmer Joe's). I was just there two days ago for a delicious morning bun.

The table remains at College Ave. Their web-site, although nice, is out of date. They've opened up two more small neighborhood locations on Solano Ave in N. Berkeley and also on Fruitvale Ave in Oakland. The Solano Ave location is at least three years old, while the Fruitvale location just opened up in Spetember (I think).
