Better Burger "air fries" (french fries) are only five points! Have them with a salad with a buffalo burger on top.

Ah just went there (Better Burger) again today. They now have Ostrich instead of Buffalo (I think they switch back and forth). An entire ostrich patty is only 3 points -- and unlike turkey, it tastes just like beef.

I would order sashimi. If you like Chinese food, I order steamed shrimp with mixed vegetables with garlic sauce (and a small amount of rice). WW put out a book of point values at various restaurants. I think the information was available on line too.

I'm on WW and my fave place is eating home! Agree that if you are eating out, sashimi is a great option...all you can eat pasta not so much. There is good thread about dieting on "not about food" board. get comfortable with what a serving looks like.

I really enjoy eating at Josie's on the UWS - you can't control the portion sizes necessarily, but you know there is no extraneous oil, butter, etc in the food (well, no butter because most of the food is dairy-free.)

Another great option is any good greek or mediterranean restaraunt - they usually have whole grilled or steamed fish, which is a fantastic protein option on WW.

Any place you can order fish without preparation in oil, butter, etc. I think Ethos on 3rd and 33rd easily accommodates--they specialize in fish. And, always cut your portion in half to save for lunch or dinner for the next day.

Other places that I have been successful:

Kiku Sushi - 9th and 24th - they have a great lunch special with 2 rolls and miso soup and salad for $7.95. Many other sushi restaurants have similar lunch deals. Just be sure to ask for the salad very light or free of the ginger dressing as it can be high in points value.

Citarella - great for fresh fish. They also have some excellent prepared dishes, like poached salmon, etc. If you get a big enough piece, you can cut the portion in half anf make it into 2 meals.

Bottino - 10th Ave and 24th - some lovely salads on the menu like a roasted beet salad with a little goat cheese, a perfect lunch

Shaffer City - oysters are low in points value and high in yum - a great "indulgence" on WW
