I know this is an old thread, but it looks like they're doing some renovation. There was a guy painting and putting up new signs to welcome you. He said he thought Irma would be opening in June (so in a week).
Call before you head over for chilequiles. There's really not substitute.

A happy note that Irma is back with expanded regular hours.
Pastores is now open 10 to 10 every day, and will be serving tacos and burritos at night. They said specials on the weekend too.

No extended hours on weekends anymore, I believe. I was the last customer as Irma was closing up at 7 tonight and when I asked about the weekend hours she said something to the effect of "not on Saturday and Sunday."

I live 2 short blocks away. I've never noticed regular hours, EVER, in the past 6 years. This is not a complaint or criticism, just a statement of observation.

Yes, always good to call or have a backup plan (Angkor Borei is across the street). The food is as wonderful as ever.
She is almost always there between 9-2 including weekends. Usually takes a break mid afternoon when school gets out and then returns for early dinner.

I also live very nearby and the last 5 times I've tried to go for lunch, they have been closed. It has reached the point where my friends joke about the always closed restaurant.
