Fresh Kielbasa in Central Mass?
We are looking to buy some fresh (not the dried "horse collar" variety) for the Pat's game tomorrow night.
Does anyone know of a place that sells it in the Rt. 495 belt? We are willing to travel to purchase it. The old Victory supermarkets sold the Leroux and DiLuigi's brands. Now that Hannaford's has taken over the stores, they don't carry any of the old brands. (I hate Hannaford's!)
Have heard of a Polish deli/market in the Attleboro and Bellingham areas but am not sure they sell the fresh, homemade variety.
Help!

re: chowmel
Thank you for all your replies.
We did find a Polish deli and just in time for the game! :-D
We got off 495 and crossed over to Bellingham - and found the Krackow Deli on Rt. 126, very close to the RI border. The place was loaded with all sorts of sausage, home made piergoi's, breads, desserts, etc. They make fresh kielbasa every Wed. and Friday. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and very helpful. It was delicious: tasty, had tons of garlic with no gristle and very little fat.
We'll be checking out all the other locations mentioned too. One can never eat too much kielbasa!
