Wine Bar in Albany

LJNew Jan 11, 2008 12:10 PM

I read in the local paper that the Enoteca Antica on Lark St. was sold and is now the Wine Bar and Bistro.
Has anyone been in since it changed owners? ( Is it open?) I am wondering if you can still go just for wines by the glass, or if it is now a restaurant/bistro only? Is the cozy interior with fireplaces and nooks still the same?
Has anyone eaten there, and maybe can camment on the food/menu?

I was only in there a few times as the Enoteca but thought it was a unique and charming place.

Thanks for any info...

I haven't been in yet, but you can go in for just a glass of wine. I think that they just increased the menu. I'm looking forward to more than a handful of choices to nibble on with a glass of wine.

SO went recently. . .really enjoyed it. I'll try to get more detals beyond veal cheeks, foie gras, reasonable wine list . . .
