Brunch for a Big Group

Getting about 12 old college sorority sisters together for brunch in a few weeks. We've done Essex before, but we're looking for something different. Any recommendations for good brunch place below 14th Street or Upper West Side that would be able to accomodate a big group and have good (read: strong) drinks?
