Restaurant Recs for Clients

I will be managing a conference in San Fran (Westin St. Francis) in mid-February. I need help location some good restaurants in the nicer neighborhoods to take clients. Would like them to be short distance (cab ride) from Westin St. Francis. I was in last year and went to Frascati and Joe DiMaggio's.

  1. You could walk over to Scala's Bistro I have taken clients here many times. I highly recommend making a reservation because I have seen a huge line starting around
6:30 PM- 432 Powell Street, seems like they get a lot of walk -ins because its right in Union Square.

Another nice place is BIX easy cab over nice neighborhood and there is Myth around the corner as well, cannot go wrong with either. Myth is changing over chefs in Feburary so the food will change as well. Both BIX and Myth are very condusive for converstaion.

      2. And one that's a bit under the radar (it's been open a few years) is Rubicon. Good atmosphere for business dinners.

great option especially if they like wine. I always forget that they have a rather impressive wine list..personally I think the food is somewhat boring but nevertheless they do a good job and its a nice room.
