Have you been to both Tacos Baja Ensenada & El Taco Nazo / Senor Baja?

I ask this because I have never been to TBE which is largely purported to be the place for the best fish tacos in greater LA -but I have been to outposts of the El Taco Nazo / Senor Baja group.

I am a regular at my location which produces the most immaculate fish tacos I have ever feasted on. It is with this conviction that I feel that it would be hard to top these pescaditos served here - that I wonder what sets TBE a cut above these guys?

I also really like the fried and seasoned chiles gueros that they offer among their accoutrement - and their perfect oregeno tinged pickled red onions.

If you search this board for posts that mention both places, you'll find plenty of conversation...

That said, yes I've been to both and TBE is tops in my book!

I used to hit the Nazos in La Puente and El Monte on a regular basis. Then the La Puente location took a dive, so I stuck with the El Monte location. Then when TBE arrived, I was quickly converted and never looked back. Didn't hurt that my drive from Torrance was considerably shortened!

The condiment bar at TBE is also good, but this is all talk. You should just go to TBE and report back!

P.S. There is no "El Taco Nazo / Senor Baja group." It was a family feud that created the Senor Baja spin-off...
