Anny's Animus - where to find?

Where can we find Anny's Animus (red, Greek, 2000, cabernet sauvignon)? Preferably in the NYC area. We have tried Astoria, Chelsea Wines, Warehouse Wines.

  1. I *believe* the importer is Trireme Imports, based in North Carolina. You can email them at and ask who their New York distributor is.

We had Anny's Animus at Pylos last night (the only place we have found it) and remembered we never heard back from the importer. The restaurant confirmed that Trireme Imports is the distributor. Thanks again zin1953. fdr

It has something to do with a husband and wife . . . our server told us the story about the wine. Made with the wife's soul in mind or something like that . . . Not sure if the name has a translation or anything to do with her :)

that's really cool... I've been reading alot of Carl Jung the past couple years and the "animus" caught my eye :)

      2. I sell the glorious, small producer Greek wines that Trireme imports in the NYC area. ANYTHING you want, let me know!!
