Been in Paris for four months and haven't been able to bring myself to go out for sushi in France. As it was a main stay back in the States I am starting to miss it. Is there any good sushi in the city? We are in the 7th, but don't mind traveling for the right fish.

Tons of great sushis in Paris:
Isami, on the Ile Saint Louis
Name that I can't remember in the rue Saint Ferdinand (speak Japanese only)
To go: Okamé in rue du faubourg saint Honoré
Cheap: comme des poissons, rue de la Tour (or close in the 16th)
Luxurious: former hotel Nikko (now Novotel?) in the 15th, amongthe big towers. Benkay is the name of the restaurant.
Tampopo rue Lauriston (across the street from the excellent and ûber expensive vietnamese Lac Hong)
And there is also a number of good adresses in the Japanese neighborhood in the rue Sainte Anne.
Also check François Simon's website. (francoissimon.typepad.fr)

With the numerous so-called sushi restaurant run by chinese, Japanese fans came up with a list of genuine restaurant:

There is a small sushi place on Monsieur le Prince in the 6th. My son who is quite a fan of sushi thought it was quite good. Sorry I don't know the name, but I liked it, too. It's very close to the Odeon Theatre.
