Basso's-Noe Valley-News or Reports?

SF Eater reported on a new restaurant in Noe Valley which was previously a pizza place, but sounds as if it's gone a little more upscale, called Basso's, on 24th & Church. Report here: http://sf.eater.com/archives/2007/11/30/double_fall_tracking_report_ba.php

It's pretty blah. I wrote one of the Yelp reviews of the place. My take is that you could do much better by splurging a bit and going to one of the other nearby Italian places.
