Thai food fans>>> I have a question

I do not eat vegetables.I love spicy food, but I am hesitant to ask for a dish at a Thai restaurant without the veggies.Would this insult the folks working there (esp. the chef)???
I would love to find a Thai place that would let me order the classic dishes without the veggies (I know this seems odd and the veggies are a big part of those dishes) but I just wanna get some input.

Some Asian languages have a word for a guest who only eats the meat in a dish as to do so is perceived as rude. But you are a paying customer and this is America.

I don't think you'd be insulting. You can ask. They can say no. Call first if you want to avoid having to walk away if they wont do it.
