Vitenamese Restaurants on the Westside or East into West Hollywood

A friend has asked me to post this for him. He's in search of really good Vietnamese food. He lives in West L.A. and wants restaurants that are fairly local. Any ideas?
There is a place on National near Sawtelle called Red Moon Cafe. I've never been there but I've read some good reviews.
There is one on the north side of Wilshire between Barrington and Granville. It's called Pho Bac Huynh, and it is in a plaza with Subway, Baja Buds, Mishima, and others. There is also another one on the north side of Santa Monica between Colby and Federal. The name is something like "Le Saigon", but I can't remember the last half of it. I've eaten at Pho Bac Huynh, and it's okay, but I've never eaten at the second one. Just discovered it last week.
I know this isn't in West LA, but the Golden Deli on the border or San Gabriel and Alhambra is fantastic.
