May May reopened (reopening?)

I talked with my dad over the phone and he said he heard that May May in Chinatown reopened (or is reopening) because one of the previous owner's sons is taking over the business. I'm in Boston or I'd check myself. Anyone care to verify this for me?

I asked a friend of mine (neice of the original owners) and she confirms, unfortunately, that there will be no re-opening.
